Bring your B.F.F. to the Sharon McGowan Breast Health Fund‘s (SMBHF) annual “Breast Friends Forever” Young Professional’s Happy Hour! The event will be held at MakeOffices at Dupont on March 10, 2016 from 6 – 8 PM. This is an opportunity to learn more about Breast Cancer Prevention by buddying up with your “Breast Friend” to remind each other to get annual mammographies. Beer and appetizers will be served, and games will be played!
The Sharon McGowan Breat Health Fund (SMBHF) was created in loving memory of Sharon McGowan, who passed away of breast cancer in 1997. It’s goal is to provide uninsured women and men in Arlington and Falls Church access to free mammograms, sonograms, biopsies, medical devices, and medications for fighting breast cancer.
Please join MakeOffices team member, Jaimie Shapiro (the late Sharon McGowan’s niece), and the rest of the MakeOffices Team to network, raise some money, raise awareness about breast health, and have some fun!
This event is proudly sponsored by MakeOffices, a Washington, DC-based co-working space. MakeOffices provides flexible, affordable workspaces and services for small business and entrepreneurs to grow their businesses.
